About Me

Hey there!  I am Marlo, and I am the creator of Mar-Lo's Handmade.  Growing up, I had a crazy imagination.  I was always trying to make something from nothing, and I loved to pretend I was a teacher and a store owner.  I would force my brothers and anyone else who would agree and make them play school with me.  I of course was always the teacher!  Then, I would go around my room putting price tags on all of my belongings, and we would play store. I even made the money and receipts. Fast forward too many years to count, and my favorite things to do as a child are also my favorite things as an adult.  I get to teach amazing kiddos 180 days each year, and I get to create gifts to last a lifetime or even just a moment as a store owner.  I'd say I'm pretty fortunate to be doing the things I love. 

When I'm not teaching or creating, I love to spend time with my family  including our English Bulldogs, Biggie and Smalls!  We love to go on RV adventures and travel as much as possible.  I also love to read and be out in nature.
