Don't worry if the wax doesn't reach the edges right away

That's completely normal. Coconut apricot wax burns slower and longer than most waxes, which means more burn time for you. By around the 3rd burn, the melt pool will catch up to the edges. That's not a flaw — that's the magic of this wax working exactly as it should.

Trim your wooden wick to ¼ inch before every burn

A too-long wick causes flickering and uneven burns. A quick snip makes all the difference. No wick trimmer? No problem — just break off the burnt wood with your fingers. Use a paper towel to keep your fingers clean.
